The Opportunity
The Shift Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and monitoring production processes in the Pre-Bake department. This role includes managing staffing issues and ensuring that production runs smoothly. The focus is on effective, safe, and efficient planning, organization, and control of resources such as labour, materials, and machinery.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures and standards.
- Ensure safety and compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Monitor team performance, address delays, and resolve production issues.
- Manage communication between teams and departments.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, focusing on succession planning.
