The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a Quality Manager at Lynher Bakery, which is part of The Cornwall Bakery. The role is centered on ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance of products, leading the quality agenda, and supporting both the QA and Operational teams to achieve the bakery's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Managing the QA team to ensure efficient operations and setting performance standards through KPIs.
- Quality and Safety: Driving improvements in GMP, food safety, and product quality, ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
- Validation and Compliance: Overseeing validation work, auditing compliance, and managing non-conformances.
- Training and Development: Planning and executing training for QA staff, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
- Customer and Operations Interaction: Providing input on quality issues to customers and operations, and participating in daily operations meetings.
- Complaint Management: Developing and managing the bakery complaint reduction plan.
