What You'll Do
As a People Partner, you'll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include:
- Partner with line managers and the senior team to support business aspirations and deliver success through people initiatives
- Coach managers to enable them to address performance and absence in a proactive and confident way
- Support and embed the culture of the business using a range of tools and activities including the annual engagement survey, completion of the Samworth Way workshops by colleagues, alignment to common processes and communications with colleagues and consultative committees.
- Use available data and KPIs to help guide improvements, targets and priorities
- Support the Talent & Succession lifecycle, from facilitating conversations, to ensuring colleagues are developed and managed and retention concerns are proactively addressed.
Your work as a People Partner will help us bring joy to our customers with exceptional food.
What you will need
There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the People Partner role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:
- Level 5 CIPD or equivalent
- Business partnering with a senior team or management team
- Experience of coaching and developing others
- Experience of handling complex ER cases
- Experience within a manufacturing setting would be an advantage
- Please note this is a site based role on a 9 months fixed term contract
