We're looking for an experienced Site Services Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our engineering team and play a key role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
This position would suit a hands-on engineer with a strong electrical background who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and as part of a team, and supporting a fast-paced FMCG production environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining critical site services, responding to breakdowns, supporting planned maintenance activities, and ensuring our facilities remain compliant, safe, and operational at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to equipment, facilities and site services breakdowns, ensuring robust and lasting repairs are completed.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
- Supporting the operation and maintenance of utilities including boilers, compressed air systems, cooling towers and electrical distribution systems.
- Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, fire safety systems and associated site infrastructure.
- Managing and updating maintenance activities through the CMMS maintenance system.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and site performance.

Electrical Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) or significant relevant experience.

Experience working in a multi-skilled maintenance role within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.

Strong working knowledge of factory electrical systems.

Experience fault-finding, maintaining and repairing single-phase and three-phase motors.

Experience working with AC/DC electrical systems.

Experience working with permit-to-work systems and contractor control processes.
