The Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for demand planning activities including creating and maintaining forecast models for our products and customers by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, retailer replenishment analysts, retailer portals and other sources. You will work collaboratively with commercial and retailers for general demand and promotional plans and overall performance and with a good awareness of site capacity will be able to plan to meet requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the deputy for the Demand Planning Manager to include being involved in promotional sign offs and chairing regular meetings
- Managing base sales and forecast accuracy
- KPI creation and publication including promotional conformance and forecast accuracy
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.
- Compile and communicate short and long term capacity plans allowing for planned maintenance scheduling, training, briefs and hygiene tasks

- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Highly literate and numerate
- Experience of using Planning systems such as Aurora/System 21/ Exceedra/Procast or similar
- Experience of analysing data to drive decision making and to achieve targets
- Flexibility to cover shifts for periods of annual leave
