About The Role

As a People Advisor you will give day‑to‑day People support to line managers. You will help managers deal with colleague matters, understand People policies and make good decisions. The role also supports recruitment, performance, engagement and change. You are there to enable managers to create a positive workplace where colleagues feel valued.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • You will be the first contact for People questions from line managers.
  • Giving clear advice on policies, processes and day‑to‑day People issues.
  • You will support recruitment, onboarding, performance and talent activity.
  • Helping managers handle absence, performance issues and other employee relations matters.
  • Using People data to spot trends and help managers make improvements.
  • Supporting engagement, wellbeing and the Culture Framework.
  • Working with the wider People Team on projects and business priorities.
About You

  • You will have experience in a People/HR role, or strong People Administration experience with readiness to step up.
  • CIPD level 3 or above qualification.
  • Confident and open to learning and developing with an ability to demonstrate how you keep your knowledge up to date.
  • Experience handling basic ER issues.
  • If you have a good understanding of People systems and reporting that would be an advantage but training will be given.
  • You will be used to working well in a fast‑paced environment with many stakeholders.
